With your ISU id card you can ride the buses within the Bloomington Normal Public Transit System (BNPTS) for free.
Carpooling to work is a great option. You can save gas and reduce the wear and tear on your car. Use ISU's Zimride to find others looking to carpool.
Bicycling is a great option on campus and around Bloomington-Normal. Just be sure and use the bike racks on campus when you park your bike. Check out a map of bike racks on campus. All BNPTS buses are equipped with bike racks so you can always split your commute to campus – bike and take the bus!
Don't have a bike? Don't worry - use Reggie Ride. Students, faculty and staff can check bikes out at the Bowling and Billiards Center for free. Sunday – Thursday bikes may be "rented" for 24 hours. Friday and Saturday, bikes may be "rented" for 48 hours.
