The Share Shop

The ISU Share Shop is a free secondhand store located in the Office of Sustainability at 305 N. School Street. Students can shop for a variety of FREE gently-used items such as clothing, shoes, accessories, small household items, textbooks, and more. 

• Need a professional look for an interview or kitchenware for your apartment?

  Grab what you need at the Share Shop! You can keep the item to use, or return it to the shop when you are done for someone else to use.

  The Share Shop has a variety of career, athletic and casual clothing options - along with kitchenware, dorm room essentials, bedding, blankets, decorations, and so much more! 

• Hours

  The Share Shop is open during the fall and spring semesters, and closed for academic breaks throughout the school year. The shop is closed December 16, 2024 through January 10, 2025 for Winter Break. The Share Shop will open for Spring Semester on January 13, 2025.
  
  The Share Shop hours during the school year are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 10a - 4p 

 

Donate to the Share Shop

Donations are accepted all year long. The shop accepts small household items, textbooks, school supplies, accessories, and a variety of gently-used clothing and shoes in all sizes and styles. Items in highest demand are Redbird apparel and winter gear.

Drop off donations Monday through Friday between 8a - 4:30p inside the Office of Sustainability.

*Please note we are unable to provide donation receipts at this time.

 

 

Front Yard Free Cycle

The Office of Sustainability and the ISU Share Shop host an annual Front Yard Free-Cycle each year during Welcome Week. Students can find everything they need to get ready for the school year. Dorm room essentials such as storage containers, mirrors, lamps, rugs, bedding, blankets, curtains, small furniture items, chairs, books, and so much more are all be available for FREE to ISU students.
